It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being every time a little bit less imperfect.
Whatever your working on, know that it will never be perfect, but at least it can be great.
However, in order for it to become great you have to actually get it into the world and see what happens.
Post the video, blog, podcast. Go into the ring and put your fighting skills to the test or go on stage and perform.
Now here comes the crucial part. Some of the things your doing or presenting are going to be great and some of it when not even most of it will not be great and that’s OKAY.
What you do with the feedback presented to you is way more important.
You take what worked and improve what didn’t work and then you put it out again and see what happens in the next round.
People do it the whole time in the software industry, they call it Beta Test. They release the beta version of a product, see how it works on what kind of bugs show up and after collecting enough data they release a update of if it.
Keep on improving what need’s improvement, but don’t fall into the trap of perfection. That doesn’t exist, so just get out there and see how the world reacts to it.
Sometimes good enough is good enough.
